You can dress anything up!

So recently I got these pair of plain flips-flops from wall-greens for only $5.99! They are extremely comfortable & I thought it would be cute to dress them up! I was in walmart & notice they had these already made flowers & ribbon you could buy to make your own. I thought for $2.99 for a ribbon flower was a bit much & you could buy the ribbon yourself for much cheaper than $2.99 & make your own! Here is a video of how I basically did mine :

Then I just sewed them on to the flip-flop with quilting thread, so it was more secure & also spray the flowers with starch to give them a crisp feeling.

Card Making~

Recently I got into card making! I really love how creative you can be with it, plus I like reusing stuff that I've gotten from other cards or gifts.

My Monday looks like...

Starting it off with the 2 most important things: coffee & my daily devotional!



Lately I've been enjoying my coffee & devotional on my back porch, since the weather has been fairly nice out!
I love being able to sit in privacy on my back porch & admire Gods creation! I never was able to do that at our first house, with the houses being so close together, plus having creepy neighbors didn't help!

I started back up my weekly menu, so I didn't have to run to the store so many times, to save on gas, with the gas prices going up! What's on your menu this week? I love hear what other people are making & sharing recipes!!
